This inspirational scene was designed and painted for the Blessed Gianna Maternity Home which keeps and cares for young mothers in need.  The priest overseeing the Gianna Home had the idea for this painting.  His original idea was to have a multitude of angels present as part of the reception but to stay within budget we simplified the concept and focused on just the two figures. 

 

Painted on canvas in my studio and I installed in the chapel.
